This Cookie Policy explains how QuoteFleet uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, dashboard, and hosted quote pages. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
In short: we set only the essential cookies needed to run the Service. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies, and we do not sell your information.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It
lets the site remember information between page loads — for example, that
you are signed in. Similar technologies (such as localStorage)
work in a comparable way. We refer to all of these as "cookies" here.
2. The cookies we set
We use only strictly necessary (essential) cookies. They cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality, so they do not require consent under GDPR/ePrivacy or the CCPA/CPRA. They fall into two groups:
- Authentication & session — after you sign in, a signed session cookie keeps you logged in as you move between pages so you don't have to re-enter your credentials on every request.
- Security & integrity — short-lived cookies that protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and abuse, and that let same-origin API calls from the app pass safely.
These cookies contain only what is needed to operate and secure your
session. They are first-party (set by
quotefleet.net), not shared with advertisers, and not used to
profile you across other websites.
3. Cookies we do not use
- No advertising or marketing cookies.
- No cross-site or third-party tracking cookies.
- No third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel). Any usage analytics we keep are aggregated server-side, not tied to advertising identifiers.
If this ever changes — for example, if we introduce optional analytics — we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.
4. Third-party services
Card payments are handled by Stripe. If you enter Stripe's payment flow, Stripe may set its own cookies that are strictly necessary for fraud prevention and secure payment processing, governed by Stripe's privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full card number.
5. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. Because the cookies we set are essential, blocking or deleting them may sign you out and prevent parts of the Service — such as the dashboard — from working correctly.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, provide additional notice.
