Keep your future shipments out of public customs records

Every ocean import you make is published in U.S. Customs vessel-manifest data — the public feed that ImportYeti, Panjiva, ImportGenius and the rest of the trade-data industry are built from. We prepare and submit a confidentiality request to CBP on your behalf under 19 CFR 103.31(d). Once it is on file, CBP suppresses your company name and address on those manifest records for all of your future shipments, so new shipments stop showing up on the sites your competitors search.

It is not retroactive — and you should know that before you pay, not after. Shipments already published stay in the historical record. The filing suppresses records going forward; it does not delete the ones already out there.

We also hide your company on QuoteFleet the moment you subscribe, while CBP works through the filing. That part is immediate — but it only covers QuoteFleet. The CBP filing is what reaches everyone else. Protection then runs 2 years, and CBP sends no expiry reminder, so we track the clock and refile before it lapses.

How we describe this, honestly: The CBP filing is the product — it is what stops your future shipments appearing on third-party trade-data trackers, and it is not retroactive: shipments already published stay in the historical record. We prepare and submit that request to CBP on your behalf; QuoteFleet is not CBP and has no automated filing connection to it, so a person files it through CBP’s official channels. Being “Hidden on QuoteFleet” is the immediate part, and is not the same as removal from CBP’s feed. Uploaded documents are kept on file and treated as self-reported, not as an independent verification.
